He is using this royal power to raise money for

Howe’s claims illustrate a very REAL opportunity for YOU and ME to claim – and enjoy – royalty because of the gracious offer of kinship to the King of Kings! Due to our sins, we are essentially orphans - hopelessly lost and in dire need. But God loved us so much that He gave His Son to die on the cross so that we might have forgiveness of our sins and the opportunity to become His children. The apostle Paul described this process with the language of “adoption.” He reminded Christians of their royalty: “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the "Spirit of adoption" by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’ The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ” (Romans 8:15-17). The Lord will add to His royal family those who: believe in Christ (Acts 16:30-31), turn from their sins in repentance (Acts 17:30-31), confess Jesus before men (Romans 10:9-10), and are baptized (immersed) into Christ for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38; Galatians 3:27). Those who continue to obediently follow the edicts of the King can retain the claim of royalty and enjoy the eternal benefits that accompany that relationship. Through Christ, YOU and I can become children of God and royal heirs to an ETERNAL inheritance! Won’t YOU accept the offer of "royalty" through your humble submission to the King of Kings? David A.
